CHRISTIAN WOMEN MINISTRIES (CWM): We offer four Women's Groups for adult women of all ages. Purpose Statement: To provide opportunities for spiritual growth, enrichment, education and creative ministries to enable women to develop a sense of personal responsibility for the whole mission of the Church of Jesus Christ." All women of the church are automatically members of the Christian Women's Ministries.

Anna Merle Circle, 1st Tuesday, 7:00 p.m.
Brooks Circle, 2nd Wednesday, 10:00 a.m.
Emily Tubman/Nunnelly Circle: 2nd Tuesday, 7:00 p.m.
Chenault/Coblin Circle: 2nd Tuesday, 1:30 p.m.

COLLEGE CONTACT MINISTRY: The main objective of the ministry is to let our students know that their church family supports them and is praying for their safety and success along the way. Of course, the surprises in the mailboxes on campus and at homes is a big plus!

GREEN TEAM (new ministry under construction): As a result of our "Just Eating" Wednesday Evening Fellowship programs and other concerns about our environment, we have decided to put together a "green team" to help our congregation think and act more responsibly regarding environmental issues. Please contact the church office if you would be interested in being a part of this new ministry. What we do already: recycle bins are EVERYWHERE in the church and used faithfully; we use glass plates, silverware and washable plastic glasses for large meals; use energy-saving light bulbs. A member has also volunteered to perform an energy audit on our building to determine what we can do to save more energy and money.

HEALING HEARTS: Healing Prayer for Those in Grief A loving and intentional group of people who work to provide a comprehensive bereavement ministry for those who have experienced a loss. We work to build on existing support in our church and greater community to create a formal process of providing a continuum of care for our church family. The group meets the first Tuesday of each month at the home of Bob and Linda Blair. If you would like to be a part of this caring ministry, there's always a place for you. CONTACT: Linda Blair 229-2970.

Weavings: Adult Bible Study Group that meets the second Tuesday of the month at noon in the church Library Conference Room. Bring a lunch!

FOOD TEAMS/GROUPS: We have several food teams/groups that rotate to prepare Wednesday Evening Fellowship meals. Some of these groups also meet as small groups for fellowship and bible study. Contact the church office (223-2346) if this is an area that interests you.

MISSIONS MINISTRY: The Mission Ministry works locally and globally to assist people in improving their lives. We have built homes and playground projects in Jamaica, paticipated in medical missions and construction projects in Honduras and Costa Rica, participate with Habitat for Humanity to construct houses in Franklin County, and are responsible for  the secial outrach offerings such as the Christian Church Homes, Special Easter Offering, and the Week of Compassion. If you are interested in this wonderful ministry, if you like assisting others, the Mission Ministry would warmly welcome you. Contact Glenn Ellis at gwellis7@yahoo.com.
